About Me
My name is Tolulope Adeniji and I am a clinical academics in physiotherapy. I am specialising in neurogeriatrics domain( neurorehabilitation, older adult rehabilitation and mental health/dementia care)
I currently work as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy at Canterbury Christ Church University in the United Kingdom. My previous experience includes clinical physiotherapy practice, teaching and research across Nigeria, South Africa and the United Kingdom. I have also worked with older adults and people living with dementia within NHS mental health and rehabilitation settings.
My research interests include dementia rehabilitation, preventive neurogeriatrics, physical activity for older adults, sarcopenia, multidisciplinary assessment, movement analysis, and culturally adaptable rehabilitation interventions. I am particularly interested in developing practical interventions within the preventive neurogeriatrics field.
I have been involved with Physiopedia for over five years as a contributor and editor. I also contributed to the physiopedia plus as a course instructor on an adjunct, one-time paid activity. I am grateful to Physiopedia for providing a global platform that supports learning, collaboration and access to rehabilitation knowledge for clinicians, students and educators around the world.
