Tim Rogers B.Kin(Hons), BScPT(Hons), Dip.Manip.PT, FCAMPT, CAFCI Registered Physiotherapist Advanced Manual Therapist Certified in Acupuncture
Tim graduated from Queen’s University with an Honours degree in Physical Therapy in 2003. Prior to this he received an Honours degree in Kinesiology in 2000 from McMaster University. At the post-graduate level Tim has completed his Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and has also become Certified in Anatomical Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. Tim is a highly skilled Manual Therapist and is a Fellow with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists, is Professional Associate and Assistant Clinical Instructor with the Graduate Physiotherapy Program at McMaster University, and has developed and taught post-graduate courses in Orthopaedics and Manual Therapy. Tim has also been an invited speaker at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University in the area of Physiotherapy treatment for Chronic Low Back and Pelvic Pain. He is a clinical preceptor for University Physiotherapy students, and is also a Clinical Mentor for the Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy level system with the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. His professional focus lies in the treatment of neuro-musculoskeletal disorders of the spine, pelvis, hip, knee and shoulder. His treatment philosophy involves thoroughly educating clients about their condition, and employing specific manual therapy and neural mobilization techniques, acupuncture, and exercise therapy to facilitate optimal functional recovery and independence.
