I am a Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in Neurology and the Clinical Director of SP Therapy Services. I have extensive experience with the adult head injured population & my particular clinical interest is complex head injured patients with low level awareness or behavioural problems.
Having worked in in-patient neuro rehabilitation for both statutory services and the private sector, I was frustrated at the lack of community based services for her patients on discharge and established the Practice in 1998.
The main referral source for TBI into the Practice is via personal injury claims and I have developed an understanding of the role of the treating therapist in the medico-legal processes and the needs of the case manager and the litigator.
I am a passionate supporter of the UKABIF APPG report on Brain Injury Time For Change.
