I am a Physiotherapist, with a strong growing will to develop the profession, concentrating on "Preventive Health". In my tryst with the profession, I have a modestly fair share of experience in clinical and research domains. From the perspective of the Clinical side, I am interested in neuro-musculo-skeletal rehabilitation, with emphasis on balancing of the sensory and motor modalities in health individuals, and in conditions such as Low Back Pain, Spinal cord Injuries and Stroke. I have a great interest in Community Health and Rehabilitation, focussing on geriatric, maternal and child health. I follow the adage "Prevention is better than Cure", and concentrate on health education, and prevention of recurrences. From the perspective of the Research side, I focus on the Quality of Life of the individuals of the society. I believe that providing proper awareness on healthy lifestyle is essential, to enable all the individuals maintain a good quality of life, and this can be achieved by research. Also, I am very much interested to explore the myriad functions of the neurons. I foresee my aim as to promote and spread health education to all, and create a health-ignorance free society in the years to come.
