My name is Selena F. Heyns. I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) with a Master's in Physical Therapy (MPT) in 2003. I have practiced in a variety of PT settings in 3 different states over the past 7 years. I enjoyed working in Texas, California, and Colorado in the orthopedic, SNF, and home care settings. I currently work for a large PT owned company that has 4 clinics in the city where I work. Our clinic specializes in aquatic and orthopedic rehabilitation. The majority of our therapists are doctorate trained. I will be graduating from Regis University with my transitional doctorate degree in May 2011. Geriatric rehabilitation is where I am most comfortable and is the direction I will be pursuing for specialization in the future.
