About Me

I am Purnima Raikwar, a Senior Sports Physiotherapist and World Rugby Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist from India, with over 6 years of elite-level clinical experience across Olympic, World Championship, and Asian Championship competitions.

My career spans four continents and eight sporting disciplines, working alongside India's finest athletes through Olympic Gold Quest and the Sports Authority of India.

I bring dual expertise in sports physiotherapy and internationally accredited strength & conditioning - offering athletes a seamless pathway from injury assessment through rehabilitation to full performance restoration.

I am equally committed to physiotherapy education - as a clinical lecturer, content reviewer, and evidence-based practitioner, I believe that knowledge communicated clearly is as powerful as any clinical intervention.

I am currently completing the Physiopedia Editor Onboarding Programme and look forward to contributing high-quality, evidence-based content to the global physiotherapy community.

Sport and movement are at the heart of everything I do. As a national-level Badminton player myself, I understand the athlete's journey from both sides. I am passionate about advancing open-access physiotherapy education globally and empowering practitioners with evidence-based knowledge.
