Professional Experience • 2019 Designed the Mobilization Magic Tool that fixes problem muscles and joints by laying on it. • 2006-present practicing in own private practice in the Northern Beaches of Sydney • 2013 Worked in Royal North Shore Hospital in the Physiotherapy Outpatient unit for 4 weeks and in the Neurological ward of RNSH for 2 weeks • 2002-2006 Peter lived in UK and USA developing markets for his patents in those countries. • 1999-2002 Peter was Chairman and Director on the Board of the listed Company Gregory Industries Ltd until 2002. • 1989-1999 Peter started an Ergonomic Office Furniture company called Gregory Commercial Furniture that supplied furniture to customers like Colgate Palmolive, Westpac Bank, AMP, NRMA, Commonwealth Bank to name just a few. He designed a series of Ergonomic chairs that won 3 Australian Design Awards and was patented in many countries around the world. This company grew very rapidly to become the largest office chair manufacturer in Australia, producing 70,000 chairs per year in 1999. The chairs had unique Dual Density Posture Support System that is recognised by ergonomists and occupational health and medical professionals as providing the best solution for improved office efficiency and productivity. The majority of Australia’s top 100 companies now use Gregory Chairs either as their primary office chair or an aid for staff with back or work related injuries. Growth was funded internally with the profits of the business and during this growth path Peter built two factories (2,000 & 4,000 sqm) in Wetherill Park to accommodate this rapidly growing business. • This business was floated on the Sydney Stock Exchange in April 1999.
1982-1989 Owned and operated his Physiotherapy practice and ergonomic advisory service. Peter advised companies such as Colgate Palmolive and Westpac Bank on their ergonomic requirements and successfully provided solutions to their Occupational Health & Safety issues This practice was sold when the Ergonomic Office furniture business was established.
