I am a graduate from the Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University and have been working within an acute care setting as well as an outpatient setting to keep my skills relevant and active. I have enjoyed my time working within different floors in the acute care setting and my most recent has been an outstanding experience within an ICU setting. I have also been providing care to the general outpatient population while trying to further improve my skills and introduce myself into an athletic population. My most recent position allows me to focus more working with the outpatient orthopedic population both pre and post op.

I joined the profession after an injury that took me out of playing Rugby, the rehabilitation process intrigued me and reinforced my interest. My passion since started to enforce my knowledge to be able to return athletes to the sport and even back to regular daily activities.
As a previous rugby player, football player, and competitive powerlifter, I know how frustrating injury setbacks can be. As a physiotherapist enjoy working with individuals with varying fitness backgrounds. I engage and empower my patients to live a healthier lifestyle which will, in turn, ensure longevity and healthy hobbies. I promote an evidence-based approach to treatment for various conditions, with the ultimate goal of returning individuals to their daily activities and routines.
I strongly believe manual therapy skills have value within the rehabilitation process in addition to a heavy focus on utilizing strengthening exercises. I have gained manual therapy skills from experts in Australia and New Zealand which I have utilized throughout my studies and professional career. I’m certified in dry needling through Evidence in Motion which I utilize in conjunction with manual therapies and exercise prescriptions to help individuals with chronic and acute injuries.
