About Me
I am Misha Ahir , Musculo-skeletal Physiotherapist in New Delhi, India with 14 + years of experience. I am Passionate about Evidence Based Practice. My goal is make a meaningful impact on patient's life and share my skills, knowledge and experience with Rehabilitation community.
Presently I am working with Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive surgery team working primarily with Tendon Injuries, Hand Replants, Lymphedema, Diabetic neuropathy, Amputation, Tendon Transfers, Trauma cases, Acute and Chronic Burns rehabilitation.
Previously I have worked with National Institute for Intellectually Disabled under Ministry of social justice and empowerment. it gave me an opportunity to work with Intellectually disabled, cerebral palsy, down syndrome and many more congenital and genetic syndromes.
Also, I have clinical and teaching experience while working for at National Institute of person with Physical Disability under Government of India. For 4 years I taught to BPT(Bachelors of Physiotherapy Students) and core clinical practice involving planning and imparting physiotherapy treatment to all age groups.
I was also associated with various Institutes in New Delhi, as Guest lecturer and Resource person to educate special educators the role and scope of Therapeutics (Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy , speech therapy) in children with Special Needs.
