I received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Daemen University in Buffalo, NY. I went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2013 from Shenandoah University. I have dynamic and multifaceted background that has granted me the opportunity to pull skills from various treatment settings and patient populations to develop a diverse and powerful skill set for helping people understand their mobility and musculoskeletal pains.
My main clinical interests are orthopedics, osteoporosis, fall risk assessments, and the spine and I continues to pursue education in these areas. I have completed certifications that focus on Blood Flow Restriction, Kinesiotape and McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis, and Treatment.
I have volunteered multiple times to be an Item Writer for the Federal State Board of Physical Therapy, where I creates, edits, and completes questions and cited answers that will be used on the licensing exam. I have most recently been appointed to the Practice Analysis Task Force, where I will be reviewing data from practice analysis data collection and identifying critical criteria for work activities, knowledge, and skill requirements.
