My name is Marlies Verbruggen. In the past I played volleyball. Unfortunately I had plenty of injuries during those years. I had some troubles with my ankle,my knees,my back,my shoulder,my right index finger and my wrist. In fact I had an operation on my wrist because I had a jumping tendon due to a collision with another player of my team. So I've spent many hours with my physical therapist. During that period my interest for physical therapy started to develop. At the moment I'm in my second bachelor physiotherapy at the Free University of Brussels. I have different fields of interest: children, sport injuries, physical therapy for pregnant women, amputees , seniors and so on. It will definitely not be an easy choice, but time will tell.
