About Me

I am a Physical Therapist who has trained and worked in India and the USA for the last 20+ years. I graduated from Susruta Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Hyderabad, Telangana (affiliated to the NTR University of Health Sciences). I practiced as a clinical therapist and a tutor in Biomechanics at SIPMR, then pursued MPT at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad. But, life took me to USA before I could complete my Masters in India. I continued my work in USA in various Long Term Care, Home Health and Outpatient settings while pursuing my Transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University. I am also a certified Kid's Yoga teacher and have volunteered as a Yoga and culture volunteer for various Indian-American groups. I am currently based in Hyderabad, India and work as a consultant at a Functional Medicine Clinic.

Along the way, I became more and more involved in Orthopedics and Women's Health as I kept working and learning from my patients and colleagues. I hope I can keep receiving and sharing this incredible joy of learning with everyone! My goal is to raise awareness of Women's Health Physical Therapy and make it accessible to women of all socioeconomic levels in my native Telugu lands.
