2009-Present: FITS Toronto: • Clinic Director and Physiotherapist-This is an ongoing position, where I am responsible for treatment of injuries, assisting with athletic development, and business development. 2010: Team Physiotherapist Ontario Ski Team: • This was a travelling position with both the men’s and women’s teams to the Canadian National Championships for 10 Days. I was responsible for assessment and treatment of injuries, recovery sessions between races, and maintenance of strength and conditioning programs. 2009-2010: Physiomed Westwood Arena • This was a part time position where I was responsible for coordinating a delegated care team consisting of Kinesiologists and massage therapists, as well as handle my own case load of patients. It has really helped me in being responsible and taking a leadership role within a clinical setting. 2009: Athlete’s Care Toronto: • This was a 2 month locum to cover other staff members vacation over the summer period. I was responsible for acute injury assessment and management. Techniques utilised ranged from manual skills, modalities including shockwave and laser, and exercise prescription. 2009: Physiotherapist Australian Women’s Skeleton Team, Whistler World Cup. • This was a two week position during the international training week and world cup event. I was responsible for injury management, acute assessment, and continued rehab/exercise supervision and modification for the 4 girls on the Australian team. 2008: Band 6 Physiotherapist at Catterick Army Garrison, Nth Yorkshire. ● This was an 8 week musculoskeletal locum position where I provided acute and chronic care and rehabilitation to soldiers of all ranks and trades. Again this involved using the DMICP notes system. 2008: Band 6 Physiotherapist RAF Waddington, Lincoln. • This was a 2-week musculoskeletal locum position where I was responsible for the care and rehabilitation of all ranks of soldiers within the RAF. I was responsible for assessment and treatment as well as decisions about return to training and fitness for deployment. During this time I continued to use the DMICP system for patient filing and documentation. 2008: Band 6 Physiotherapist RAF Honington, Bury St Edmonds, UK. • This was a 4-week musculoskeletal locum position where I was responsible for the care and rehabilitation of all ranks of soldiers within the RAF. I was responsible for assessment and treatment as well as decisions about return to training and fitness for deployment. During this time I also became familiar and competent in using the DMICP system for patient filing and documentation. I also became familiar and competent with the footscan program for gait and foot analysis. During this post I also had the opportunity to supervise students in their assessment and treatment of patients. 2008: Band 6 Physiotherapist Westbrook Intermediate Care Centre, Margate, UK. • Areas worked: Aged care and rehabilitation • This position was a 6 week locum position where I was responsible for my own case load, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and conduct group exercise classes. I also had to coordinate referrals to appropriate outpatient or equipment loans services, or community physiotherapy services for my patients. 2008: Grade 1 physiotherapist Calvary Public Hospital, Canberra. • Areas worked: Aged Care and Rehabilitation Service. • This was a 2 month locum position where I was responsible for my own case load, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and running group exercise classes. I also had to coordinate referrals to appropriate outpatient or equipment loans services for my patients. 2007: First year graduate physiotherapist at St Vincent’s hospital Sydney. • Areas worked: Cardiothoracics, transplant, musculoskletal outpatients. • These were 3 month rotating positions where I had to carry a full case load, work with a multi disciplinary team and participate in quality improvement projects. 2006-2007: Sports trainer and student physiotherapist with Uni-Norths Rugby Club Canberra. • Main duties include taping and providing both on and off field assistance to the club physiotherapist for 5 teams within the club. 2005-2006: Fit Living, Caringbah, Sydney, NSW. • Exercise Physiologist-Duties include designing and implementing exercise programs, carrying out exercise testing.
