About Me

I am 22 years old and received early admission into graduate school and am currently studying at Bellarmine University in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program.

I became interested in the career of physical therapy when I actually had to attend therapy myself. I have been playing volleyball since the age of seven and I have had my encounters with injuries. My experience at physical therapy was very positive and I found myself interested in the physical therapist's depth of knowledge and ability to help patients increase their movements and abilities. As of current, I have only been acquainted with the sports therapy and the outpatient settings, but I am keeping my mind open to all other areas of practice as I continue at Bellarmine.

Current interests in physical therapy: Women's Health (pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain, lymphatic treatment, etc.), Sports rehabilitation programs (proprioception, wobble boards, agility training, etc.) and Manual therapy interventions (spinal manipulations and joint mobilizations)
