Education and Certifications: Lindsay attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and became a Certified Athletic Trainer. She continued her education at Boston University where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Her interest in functional training led her to become certified in the Functional Movement Screen and Selective Functional Movement Assessment.
With a background in athletic training, Lindsay’s clinical interests originated in sports medicine. She treats orthopedic conditions and has been focusing her continuing education on the rehabilitation of the hand and wrist. Although she started her career in orthopedics, she has now since expanded her interests to include vestibular rehabilitation and the treatment of neurological disorders, in particular Parkinson’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis.
Work and Volunteer Experience: While at Wisconsin, Lindsay worked with many of the varsity athletic teams including football, men's hockey, women's soccer, and softball. She then went on to work as the Head Athletic Trainer at Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI. In graduate school Lindsay became interested in research, participating in the investigation of knee osteoarthritis and then later low back pain. Currently, Lindsay volunteers her time by providing athletic training coverage for Steamboat’s AAU High Altitude Basketball program.
