I am a physical therapy student, working on my doctorate in the field at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL in the United States. I have an undergraduate degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida. I specialized in the field of Fitness and Wellness while attaining my degree and enjoy working with active and sports medicine populations.
I have completed a 6 month internship with Brooks Rehabilitation in Ponte Vedra, FL working in an outpatient physical therapy clinic. Upon the completion of my internship, I was hired on as a therapy aide within the same organization and worked with various Brooks therapy clinics. I attained valuable experience observing a multitude of different therapies and ideologies among therapists.
I am eager to expand my knowledge of the field and explore areas within physical therapy that I have never been exposed to before.
