Hello!
To begin with, I am currently a student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Bellarmine University. I also attended Bellarmine University for my undergraduate education where I graduated in May of 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science. I was born and raised in Oldham County, Kentucky and moved to Louisville at the start of my undergraduate career. During my Sophomore year of my undergraduate education, I realized that Physical Therapy was the field I wanted to pursue after shadowing a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting. I also worked in an outpatient clinic (Synergy Rehab) -that treated patients who had been in car accidents- for over a year to gain clinical experience and increased knowledge of the field. Currently, my clinical interests include orthopedics, cardiopulmonary, sports medicine, and geriatrics, although I am eager to learn about specialities and aspects of Physical Therapy that I have yet to encounter.
