About Me
Jorge is a senior physiotherapist who graduated from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Málaga in 2004. In addition to his education in Spain, he has trained in the United Kingdom, Finland and Estonia. It was in Estonia, driven by his strong interest in using technology to improve public health, where he completed a Master’s degree in Digital Health at Tallinn University of Technology, graduating cum laude.
He has worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in both Spain (Málaga) and the UK (Southampton and Portsmouth), primarily treating athletes. For over a decade, Jorge has also been dedicated to translating research into practice, with the aim of making scientific findings accessible and understandable to all, which led to a number of publications in the British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM). He currently works as a Digital Implementation Specialist at Physiopedia, where he is also the Translation Team Manager, helping to advance digital health education globally.
