My name is Dr. Jamal Shah (PT), and I am a recent graduate of Khyber Medical University in Peshawar, holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. During my education and subsequent role as a Rehabilitation House Officer at Hayatabad Medical Complex in Peshawar, I had the privilege of working in various units of the hospital, including Orthopedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Surgical and Medical wards, ICUs, and the Physical Therapy Department. These experiences provided me with a solid foundation in healthcare and rehabilitation, as well as an understanding of the challenges faced by individuals seeking rehabilitative care. One area of particular interest to me is research, and I am keen to explore opportunities to conduct research activities on innovative rehabilitation techniques. In particular, I am interested in exploring the potential of Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) therapy as well as utilizing virtual reality technology to assist bed-ridden patients in their rehabilitation journey.
