Dr Heather Gray is the Head of Physiotherapy and Paramedicine at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU), Scotland, UK having worked previously in NHS Scotland. She is the Chair of the UK's Chartered Society of Physiotherapy's Professional Committee. She has served in many CSP roles, including: Research and Education Officer for the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics; member of the CSP’s Quality Assurance and Enhancement Group; and Educational Representative on the CSP Scottish Board.

Heather spent four years as a Researcher at the University of Glasgow in Public Health and in Scotland’s Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions Research Unit, and has completed numerous educational consultancy projects with NHS Education for Scotland. She is a member of Scottish Government’s AHP Vocational Rehabilitation priority work stream, and had led on three cross-university strategic projects in relation to personal tutoring, partnership working and student mental health. Currently, she is leading a Scotland-wide Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) project on building equality, diversity and inclusivity to promote student mental wellbeing.
