About Me

I am a physiotherapist and Regional Resilience & Physiotherapy Lead working across the MENA region, with over 14+ years of experience , capacity development, and interdisciplinary practice. My work focuses on supporting survivors of torture and complex trauma, especially at the intersection of health and justice, where I contribute to strengthening rehabilitation systems, training clinicians, and integrating physical and mental health approaches.

I have been involved in designing and delivering trauma-focused training programs, developing academic curricula, and supporting the establishment of rehabilitation services in humanitarian and post-conflict settings. I am particularly interested in how physiotherapy can support resilience, functional recovery, and meaningful participation in justice processes.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with children, being around my cat, and taking quiet Friday morning drives with good coffee, small moments that help me stay grounded and connected.
