Farhan Abdul Rauf is a Physician with specializations in Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Rehabilitation and Disabilities, and Patient Education and Safety. He has a Doctorate of Medicine (MD), a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD), and a Masters in Public Health (MPH) from Kazakhstan and Ukraine, respectively. His 19 years of work in rural areas has included work in Afghanistan, Belarus, Moldova, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Somaliland, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan in areas of vulnerability and limited resources for the critically ill, the persons with disabilities PWDs, the refugees, the internally displaced persons IDPs, and the minorities.
