About Me

I am a Swiss trained physiotherapist with over five years experience across inpatient and private practice settings in Switzerland. I am passionate about physiotherapy and about defending and promoting the profession. This led me to get involved with Physiofribourg, a cantonal branch of Physioswiss (Switzerland’s largest physiotherapy association), from 2022 to 2025, where I took on different roles.

Wanting to better understand health systems and policies, and to contribute more meaningfully to the profession, I completed a Master’s in Health Sciences, majoring in Health Economics and Policy, in 2025.

In 2026, I moved to Dublin, Ireland, to discover a new health system and gain a different perspective on physiotherapy practice. In June, I started a new role as Senior Physiotherapist with the Integrated Care for Older Persons (ICPOP) team within HSE Dublin South in Ireland. I am the only physiotherapist in a completely multidisciplinary team, taking charge of older patients with complex needs. It is proving to be very interesting, as we don't really have an equivalent for it in Switzerland.

Joining the Physiopedia editorial team in May 2026 has been an absolute delight. I find that it is a fantastic way to stay up to date with the latest physiotherapy research and connect with colleagues around the world.

I am generally hardworking, but outside of work I enjoy hiking and practicing calisthenics. I love learning and always have a book on my nightstand.
