Dr. Arshad Nawaz Malik BSPT, DPT He is an integral part of competent and experienced faculty of Riphah College of rehabilitation sciences, Riphah International University. He teaches Graduate and Postgraduate students & working as assistant professor. He worked in different Government teaching hospitals including Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) & Children hospital, Institute of child health for five year & the part of examiner in University of Health Sciences Lahore. He worked as coordinator of physiotherapy and promoted the academic and research oriented activities.
Dr. Malik completed his graduation in 2005 from School of Physiotherapy Mayo hospital Lahore. After that he also did his post professional clinical doctorate in physical therapy. He has great enthusiasm for learning & has a natural curiosity to the research oriented activities. He always maintains accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date documentation in line with legal and departmental requirements and to communicate assessment and treatment results to the appropriate disciplines in the form of reports. His major area of interest is neuromuscular physical therapy; he always tries to find out the different treatment techniques, their effects and the comparison between them.
Some of his research projects are stated below; • Major etiology of peripheral neuropathies • Task oriented mobilization in frozen shoulder • Contracture prevention in stroke • Role of Musical therapy & physical therapy in Parkinsonism • Role of stretching in stroke
