About Me
I am Dr. Areeba Raja (PT) from Karachi, Pakistan, a dedicated Physical Therapist with a strong academic background and diverse clinical experience. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi, in 2018, graduating with a gold medal for securing the top position in my class. My passion for Physical Therapy was ignited by a personal recovery journey, which deepened my commitment to the field.
Since completing my DPT, I have accumulated significant clinical experience across various esteemed institutions, including Dow University Hospital (2018-2019), Darul Sukun (2020-2021), and Creek General Hospital (2021-2022). Currently, I am enhancing my expertise by pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Science at the University of Potsdam, Germany (2022-Present), while actively practicing as a physical therapist at Physiotherapie Marsch Berlin-Mitte GmbH (2023-Present).
Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my contributions to the field, receiving awards for my dedication to education and patient care, including speaking engagements at Brooks Grammar School (2019) and conducting vital educational sessions on World Cerebral Palsy Day (2020) and World Down Syndrome Day (2021) at Darul Sukun. My ambition is to serve humanity through innovative treatment and recovery strategies in physical therapy, continually striving for excellence and growth in my profession.
