Educated in Physiotherapy at the University of Southampton in 2001, worked in NHS in the UK for 6 years latterly specializing in neuro rehabilitation and falls management. Since 2006 have been working in international development and humanitarian sectors within the disability field in Africa and South Asia.
Masters in Development Management (due for completion 2011) with specialism in War/ Conflict and Disaster response; organizational change; and research project focussing on management of survivors of torture in UK (in conjunction with the Medical Foundation for the Care of victims of Torture).
