About Me

I am a physical therapist, and graduated from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (now CU-Denver) in 1993 with an entry-level masters degree. I went back to CU-Denver for my DPT and completed this in 2007.
I have been working at the University of Colorado, Boulder for over 16 years in an outpatient, orthopedic setting. I love my profession and my job, and am grateful to have had the opportunity to practice in a direct-access setting. I have been a clinical instructor for the UC-Denver PT program for 11 years, and enjoy mentoring the next generation of physical therapists. In 2008, I was awarded the Outstanding Clinical Instructor honor from CU-Denver.
In addition to my work at CU-Boulder, I have a private practice called Integrated Cycle Fit. Prior to PT school, I was a professional cyclist and also a cycling coach, and in my private practice I work with cyclists of all backgrounds to integrate what I've learned over the years and help cyclists get "dialed in" ergonomically on their bikes.
During the summer months, when I'm not at CU, I work at Lyons Physical Therapy.
I am currently studying for the OCS examination. Daunting, yes, but exciting, too!
In my "other life" outside of physical therapy, I run a non-profit concert series in Lyons CO - High Street Concerts. I'm a musician and play mandolin, guitar, and fiddle. I also emcee bluegrass festivals in CO.
