About Me[edit | edit source]

Introduction[edit | edit source]

Hello all, My name is Adrian Shaji and I an a physiotherapist from Mumbai, India. I am a Bachelors of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree holder graduated from Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore, India in August 2022. Currently I am working at a Musculoskeletal and Sports rehab clinic in Mumbai, India. during my non clinical hours I do home visits to provide physiotherapy service such as post stroke rehabilitation, post CABG rehabilitation, sports injury rehabilitation, pain management, geriatric well-being, etc.

I consider myself as an enthusiastic, curious and always ready to learn individual. I believe there is knowledge and information in every aspect of life and we just need to figure it out and filter what is necessary for us. It truly bring me joy when I see my patients recover because of something that I have learned, practiced and applied. There is no true happiness than to see your patient become a whole new person and to see the impact physiotherapy has made on their ailment.

Physiotherapy in India has just started to become popular but still majority of the population are unaware that something like this exists and about its benefits. My goal is to promote physiotherapy and its perks to as many people as I possibly can.

Why Physiotherapy?[edit | edit source]

Since my school days I was fascinated by the field of physiotherapy . I am an avid fan of sports especially football and would always get excited when a physio would come on field to help out an injured player. Having an interest in sports, always having a ready to help attitude and also having an inclination towards the medical fraternity I decided to pursue this career.
