About Me

I am İbrahim Şeker, a Master of Science student at the University of Pécs in Hungary. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation from Marmara University in Turkey between 2019 and 2023. During my undergraduate studies, I focused heavily on sports rehabilitation, completing internships at Beşiktaş Handball Club, Kartal Football Team.

In addition to my clinical rotations, I have completed specialized training in musculoskeletal (MSK) rehabilitation, including courses in men's health physiotherapy, dry needling, and TMD (Temporomandibular Disorder) and orofacial rehabilitation. Following graduation, I spent six months working in a private physiotherapy center, where I managed a wide variety of MSK injuries and clinical cases.

My academic journey is deeply rooted in the digital transformation of healthcare. My Bachelor’s thesis focused on the use of telerehabilitation for patients with fibromyalgia. Currently, I am expanding this expertise through my Master’s thesis, which investigates the efficacy of telerehabilitation for TMD patients.

In summary, my professional vision is to bridge the gap between traditional MSK care and digital health. I am dedicated to improving the accessibility, affordability, and efficiency of physiotherapy through technology, while continuously advancing my clinical and academic skills to promote preventive and patient-centered care.
