Rebecca is a Chartered Physiotherapist, qualifying in 2008 from the University of Huddersfield and has since worked in a variety of healthcare settings in the UK, Mongolia, Nepal and Ghana, before specialising in Musculoskeletal Outpatients. She is currently studying at the University of Derby in MSc Applied Sport and Exercise Science to expand her clinical expertise. Her research focuses on the recovery of Total Hip Replacements and how to improve patient care.

After qualifying as a Physiotherapist, I volunteered at a rehabilitation centre in Nepal which started my passion for the global sharing of physiotherapy practices. I then worked in the NHS in learning disabilities before moving to general community, intermediate care and musculoskeletal outpatients. Following this, I returned to volunteering, this time in hospitals in Mongolia and Ghana, before returning to the UK as a senior physiotherapist, eventually specialising in musculoskeletal outpatients. I am currently enhancing my clinical expertise in musculoskeletal rehabilitation by completing an MSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Science.
