Graduated from the University of Toronto in 1991. Spent 5 years as what was initially a sole charge position running a small physiotherapy department in the remote community of Moose Factory Ontario. The position expanded to include a physiotherapy assistant then to managing another physiotherapist as well. I moved to Salt Spring island in 1996 and started my own practice. I also worked at Sidney Physiotherapy for one year during 1997-1998. In 2002 I purchases the island's larger Physiotherapy Clinic and ran it for four years with 3 other physiotherapists on staff. In 2003 I had a major health crisis which lead to selling the clinic in 2006. I took some time off and had another health crisis in 2010.I continued to work only a small amount until the fall of 2011 when I started working in a bigger capacity again. I have continued enjoying a slower paced practice with a focus on patient education and an integrated approach.
