About Me

I'm a physiotherapy educator based at a university in the Western Cape of South Africa. I'm interested in social media and other emerging technologies to facilitate enhanced teaching and learning practice in physiotherapy education. I graduated with a Masters degree in 2008, after looking at the use of information and communication technologies by South African physiotherapy students and universities. I recently completed my PhD research, where I looked at how we can use technology-mediated approaches to fundamentally change teaching and learning practices in South African health professions education.
