About Me
[edit | edit source]

I'm a physiotherapy educator based at a university in the Western Cape of South Africa. I'm interested in social media and other emerging technologies to facilitate enhanced teaching and learning practice in physiotherapy education. I graduated with a Masters degree in 2008, after looking at the use of information and communication technologies by South African physiotherapy students and universities.

I'm currently busy with my Doctoral research where I'm looking at undergraduate curriculum development in our department, moving to a blended learning approach using online technologies to enable communication and collaboration to better facilitate an engaged learning experience.
