About Me
[edit | edit source]

I recently graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors of Science concentrating in Health and Kinesiology. I'm currently a graduate student at Bellarmine Univeristy studying to be a Doctor of Physical Therapy. After completion of my degree, I will be looking to specialize in the field of Neuroscience. I hope to seek employment in a rehab hospital working on patients with stroke related injuries, Parkinson's disease, MS, etc.

Research has also been an interest of mine. If given the opportunity, I would like to conduct research in the Neuroscience setting. Specific topics of interested would include, balance and gait training in adults with and without sensory information, and the results of neural signaling in Parkinson and Stroke Patients over a 12 month intervention.

Someday I will return to school and work towards my PhD. Being a professor, will be a rewarding and unique accomplishment. Providing students with the knowledge and background recieved from being an active member of the PT community, provides insigth into what needs to improve in the clinical and acute settings.
