Gayatri Jadav Upadhyay earned her Bachelor's as well as Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Shree B. G. Patel College of Physiotherapy, Anand, Gujarat following which she served Aditya Birla Copper company, Hindalco Dahej as a Consultant PT for a year. During my formal training in post-graduation, I developed a strong affinity towards sharing and learning more about Neuro-Physiotherapy and my fascination with the intricacies of curriculum and lack of streamlining, it grew even more intense. I was deeply moved and in some way frightened by the prospect of imagining myself in the shoes of PTs who weren’t thorough with their applications. But simultaneously I felt myself empowered by the knowledge and skills that I was willing to share to make these individuals more efficient. Many people think Physiotherapy in India is something to be thwarted if possible. But I believe that it holds a promising future if standardization of PT education is made by the government. I was particularly interested in Physiopedia as it can give me an opportunity to profoundly influence PTs education. Soon I realized that there is something called volunteer jobs too for it.
