About Me

BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 2001 from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, Scotland. Rotational junior clinician in NHS, briefly in private practice in Australia, returned to NHS in Scotland as senior rotational clinician with special clinical interst in stroke rehab. Set up single-handed independent practice in Edinburgh area in 2007 providing physiotherapy for stroke and other neuro conditions. Currently getting very good results with upper limb rehab in chronic stroke using the current evidence base. Very keen to learn more about cortical plasticity after stroke and how phyiotherapy can help to get better motor and functional recovery for patients.
