Physiopedia:Community Culture

Introduction[edit | edit source]

As a professional site for professional people we expect our editors to follow a few basic rules when making contributions to the site.  Anyone contravening these rules will have their account terminated with immediate effect.

Respect copyrights of others[edit | edit source]

We expect our editors to abide by the terms set out in our Copyrights document.  No contributions made by our editors will violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, intellectual property rights or other rights of any person.

No vandalism[edit | edit source]

We do not allow our editors to vandalise any pages by removal of appropriate content or addition of inappropriate content, this includes abuse to other editors.  If you notice any vandalism in Physiopedia please report it to us immediately.

No unauthorised adverts[edit | edit source]

We do not allow editors to place adverts on any of the main content pages at any time.  Our registered users are however entitled to place links to their work, such as publications, websites, presentations and courses on their own profile page.  We may eventually consider placing adverts for appropriate educational materials, such as courses and books, on the main content pages but these adverts will need to be approved and added by admin.

Respect student projects[edit | edit source]

We expect our editors to respect student projects within Physiopedia and not to edit the pages that they are working on whilst the project is ongoing.  Once the project is complete these pages will be opened up to the public for continued collaboration.
