== Klapp Exercises is a method designed by Rudolph klapp in 1940, as a treatment for scoliosis. He observed that quadrupeds did not show signs of scoliosis while humans did. For this, he created a few exercises using the cat and kneeling position, to stretch and strengthen the trunk muscles.1, level of evidence: 2B According to Ciazynski D. et al. it’s one of the best known therapy in physiotherapy students to treat idiopathic scoliosis.2, level of evidence: 1B According to Denise H. et al. Klapp exercises are effective to treat trunk asymmetries and they have also a positive effect on the lumbar lordosis flexibility. Regarding to other curvatures of the spine they are not effective and they have no effect on pelvic asymmetries. ==
