Tutors will be resonsible for:[edit | edit source]

  1. Providing an introductory session for there students
  2. Allocating students to pages to create the groups
  3. Providing local guidance and support where necessary
  4. Assessing their students on the project (we hope that this will be similar across nations and could possibly be created in a specific Physiopedia page?  It could assess the quality of the page that the student was involved in and also theior individual contributions by viewing the page history and the Talk pages).

Students will follow the project guide as follows:[edit | edit source]

  1. Meet and greet - you should first create your profile page in Physiopedia.  Your profile page should include an image of yourself and links to social networking site profile that you are happy to share with your peers.  This will allow you to practice editing pages and uploading images, and also enable you to 'meet' each other online.
  2. Develop a plan of action - as a group you should make a plan of action as to how you and when will complete the tasks below.
  3. Identifying the evidence - you should all complete a literature search to identify key research papers relating to the page that you are working on. You should review these papers and discuss them with your group.
  4. Create the page - to create your page you should allocate each person in your group responsibility for a different section of your page. They should write the initial content for that section of the page and add relevant evidence for what they have written.
  5. Add media - you might like to think about adding images and video to enhance your page. Images and video that you create as a group will be highly regarded.
  6. Review your work - as a group you should review each others work and make any edits as necessary.
  7. Housekeeping - make sure that you allocate time at the end of the project to complete and tidy up your page.
  8. Peer review - Once the pages have been created you should review all your colleagues pages and select your top three pages.  You will be sent details of how to submit this.
  9. Feedback - When you submit your peer review you will also be asked to complete the feedback survey. Once you have done this your work on the project has ended.

 * Remember, the 'Talk' page related to your page is available for related discussions throughout the project and will probably be used for assessment, however it is also appropriate to communicate with your peers outside of Physiopedia by other means, e.g. Email, Facebook, Twitter
