About Me[edit | edit source]
I am a Nigerian-trained physiotherapist with 2years of clinical experience. I graduated from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria with first-class honors and six distinctions (in Neurology, Manual Therapy, Exercise Therapy, Kinesiology, Orthopaedics and Trauma, and Electrotherapy). I was also awarded the Most clinical proficient award for my graduating set in 2018.
I have keen interests in disease prevention, health education, and pediatrics. I also volunteers for non-profit organizations such as Arts in Medicine and Toastmasters International. I am currently an Associate Director for the Mental Health Fellowship, which is a leading non-profit organization focused on educating youths and adolescents in Nigeria on how they can become mental health advocates in their schools and communities.
I believe in the work being done by Physiopedia and recognize how it aligns with my passion for health education. I hope to gain new skills and also utilize them for personal, professional and organization growth.
