Resources[edit | edit source]
Some of the best information that fits the populations you are dealing with can be found through the national Parkinson’s organisations of the country you live in.
In addition to this, we would recommend looking at resources for professional in the:
- European Parkinson’s Disease Association site
- The European Physiotherapy Guideline provides an extensive reference list of evidence that has informed the document. This can be found from pages 160 – 187 of the main Guideline
- Resources in the form of learning materials and useful technology e.g. Apps, books and DVDs can be found described at the APPDE Resources site.
There are educational associations to join, such as:
- The Movement Disorder Society with a dedicated Allied Health Professionals section
- The APPDE
- If your country’s physiotherapy body has a professional network with a neurological interest
