    Good basic information on anatomy and function of muscle, use of references to support data, nice addition of videos, and some relevant research in the area.

    The article would be even better if it had additional sections, including Physiotherapy Techniques and Pathology/Injury. It might benefit by using the Muscle Template.
  6. Is the content on the page comprehensive and appropriately structured?
    Yes
  7. Is the page written in an appropriate style for practicing clinicians?
    Very much so.
  8. Are the key points made on the page referenced correctly?
    Yes in general. There are two points that may need further reference, though I am not certain. These are the following (found in the 'Function' section: 1. "It also prevents excessive anterior rotation of the pelvis and assists with the stability of the sacro-iliac joint by providing force closure for this joint. Gluteus maximus is part of the posterior sling of muscles."2. "Both glutei maximi may assist in the contraction of the external sphincter ani."

    Yes -- could be made even more relevant to physical therapy by adding in/ separating into additional sections including Physiotherapy Techniques and and Pathology/Injury.

    I am not a specialist in this area, so I am not certain.

    No -- changed "fibres that insert into the fascia lata" to "fibres that insert into the gluteal tuberosity" based on reference information

    As above, I would add more emphasis on physiotherapy techniques. Another section also found in the template is Blood Supply.
  13. Are there any topics that you feel should be covered in greater or less detail?
    The information in the section 'Function' could possibly be sorted into different subheadings according to the template. For example, you could add an Actions subheadings. You might also be able to move the last paragraph to sections for Pathology/Injury or Treatment tecniques.
  14. Did you feel the content was current? If not, how could it be more up-to-date?
    Yes
  15. Finally, would you use this article in your teaching or clinical work? Please state the reasons why or why not?
    Yes, it is a good resource for a quick synopsis and basic overview of the muscle, plus provides some additional PT-specific info.
