I am from Glasgow, Kentucky. I am one of three children. My sister is three years older than me, and I have a twin brother. I have played sports my whole life and being athletic eventually led to my interest in physical therapy. As a junior in high school I decided I wanted to go to school for physical therapy. I took a tech job right out of high school and I knew for sure physical therapy was the path I wanted to follow. I graduated in December of 2011 from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelors of Science degree. I had a major in biology, and a minor in nutrition. I spent the next year and a half working as a tech at a few different locations and enjoying life outside of the classroom. As of May 2013, I began the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program at Bellarmine University with a projected graduation date of May 2016. I have experience in inpatient acute care, outpatient orthopedic, and skilled nursing settings. My interests for my future practice in the field include sports, neurology, and outpatient orthopedic. I am excited to continue on this journey through physical therapy school and a lifelong career in the field!
Outside of physical therapy school, I enjoy watching and playing sports, running, cooking, and spending as much time as possible with family, friends, and my dog, Zoey, who is a Boxer/Pitbull mix.
