Purpose

To test for a cervical nerve root compression causing cervical radiculopathy
Technique[edit | edit source]
With the patient seated, have them side bend approximately 30 degrees towards the affected side. The physical therapist will apply an axial force while standing behind the patient. A positive test will be a reproduction of symptoms.
