I am a US-based physiotherapist registered to practice the profession both in the Philippines and in the United States. I have a solid experience in working with hospital-based patients and clients who want to be well and healthy. My exposure to different settings is quite extensive and it includes in- and out-patient, home health and wellness/fitness. A major chunk of my practice has been with the geriatric population that needed neuro/stroke rehab, cardiac rehab, nephrorehab and ADL re-education post THR/TKR surgeries to name a few. Ergonomics and occupational health is also something that is close to my heart and have done a few lectures about it to some partner organizations of my former employer.
An additional skill I have acquired through the years on top of my being a clinician is my excellent grasp on customer service/care and customer service management. In all the industries I have been a part of, customer care is in the core of my daily interactions. I also write reviews on articles about physiotherapy and health and wellness and share them to professional groups especially on Facebook. I also am into photography but need more experience.
I am very objective, and can work with minimal supervision provided expectations are set right before I get into the job. I want to work on jobs that challenge my critical and analytical thinking and those where I can apply my knowledge on physiotherapy, health and wellness in general as well as customer service, content development and training.
