He is currently aiding in research and manuscript writing being conducted at University of Colorado on early, intensive physical therapy in individuals in the intensive care unit (ICU) requiring greater than 7 days of mechanical ventilation. This research also relates to the physical therapist's role in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of ICU Acquired Weakness (ICU-AW), and it's specific subsets: critical illness polyneuropathy (CIP), critical illness myopathy (CIM), and critical illness polyneuromyopathy (CINM).
Kyle will be practicing in 3 separate settings in the greater Denver area: a private outpatient orthopeadic clinic, an acute in-patient hospital, and a long term acute care hospital.
