Tony Lowe

Tony (UK) is an e-learning consultant and Physiopedia co-founder.

With a background in engineering and education Tony became fascinated by the opportunities presented by the then new Internet and how this could be used to support teaching and education. Following a time working as a learning technologist at the University of Leeds he established Webducate and it was at a related conference he introduced Rachael to this exciting and rapidly expanding world of Web 2.0. This exposure eventually led to the launch of Physiospot 2006 and then Physiopedia in 2009. Apart from being the co-founder, Tony is also the geek behind Physiopedia.

Tracy Bury

Tracy (UK) is a strategy, governance and events consultant and founder of Operandi Consulting, working with professional associations, health and scientific societies, and international membership bodies.

Tracy qualified as a physiotherapist in 1988 and holds a Masters in Health Science, alongside an Oxford University Executive Strategy programme credential. She has a practitioner-researcher background, having published in peer-reviewed journals, served as an associate journal editor, and co-authored a book on evidence-based practice.

Tracy spent eight years leading research and development strategy and evidence-based practice at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, before going on to contribute to the international development of the physiotherapy profession for over 20 years with World Physiotherapy, including roles as deputy CEO and interim CEO, as well as leading the development of the World Physiotherapy Congress.

Alongside this, Tracy has been active in the wider international association and congress sector, including board roles with AC Forum, where she served as President, and as an advisory board member of BestCities Global Alliance.

She now combines all of these experiences through her consultancy work to help others, but her roots remain firmly in physiotherapy.
