This is a photo of the American Brain Tumor 5K walk/run that I did remotely with a client and survivor who only 9 months ago could not walk independently!

About Me[edit | edit source]

I was born to Lebanese parents who immigrated to San Francisco, CA where I was born. I grew up both in the San Francisco Bay Area and London, England. I returned to California for my university and graduate studies and realized that the most wonderful part of living was being to move and use my body. This lead me into a world of sports including water polo, scuba diving, aerial acrobatics, running, and cycling.

Movement gave me life and I became determined to help others which led me to a career in physical therapy and the opening of Synergy+ Physical Therapy and Pilates Studio in 2005 and Synergy+ in Ticino Switzerland in 2022.

My main focus is Pilates based orthopedic care including sports rehab, chronic pain, hypermobility spectrum disorders and EDS, cancer rehabilitation, pre and post op care, and overall health and wellness.

I continue to teach continuing education instruction courses to physical therapists, Pilates instructors, health care practitioners, and the general public.

I am passionate about reaching a greater population of people who need help restoring movement to their lives. I hope to one day make a bigger impact in the world by educating the general public and other practitioners who can help bring physical wellness and movement to underserved populations in the world.
