Winnie is the Founder & Principal Physiotherapist of Breathe Physio & Pilates (www.breathephysio.com) based in Brisbane, Australia.

Winnie graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree from the University of Queensland in 2012. She is an incredibly passionate and experienced physiotherapist who takes a great deal of pride and joy in helping people improve. At the heart of it, Winnie is happiest when her patients recover and maintain their physical best.

Winnie has worked in hospitals, aged care homes, private clinics and with athletes all over Brisbane, the UK and Europe. When patients come to see Winnie, she believes in making a thorough assessment of their injury or condition before using a range of techniques for treatment and rehabilitation. Winnie practices Western Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Myofascial Cupping, The Mulligan Concept, Muscle Energy Techniques and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation. Her article on Western Acupuncture was published in the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in the UK.

Team sports such as basketball and cycling are Winnie's passions. She had a blast working with coaches and competing cyclists in the Haute Route racing from Alps to Alps across France and Switzerland. Personally Winnie has done several half marathons. She has completed the Three Peak Challenge where she hiked the highest mountains Ben Nevis, Snowden and Scafell Pike in Scotland, Wales and England under 24 hours. In 2017 she spent two weeks trekking up Mount Everest Base Camp. Last year Winnie thoroughly enjoyed the 100km MS Brissie to the Bay ride and 100km Brisbane to Gold Coast ride and will definitely be doing them again this year!

Last but not the least, Winnie is a dog lover and she loves hanging out with Connor, her German Shepherd puppy, who is just a big silly boy. They go for a 5k run to and from the dog park every morning. It is always a great way to start the day!
