I am a 1998 graduate of the Master of Physical Therapy program from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. In 2013 I obtained my national board certification in Women's Health Physical Therapy. I owned and operated my own clinic where we specialized in the treatment of chronic pain and complex medical conditions that impacted function such as fibromyalgia, ME/CFS, trigeminal neuralgia, headaches, hEDS/joint hypermobility syndrome, interstitial cystitis, endometriosis in addition to other pelvic issues experienced across genders.

I was an active member of the APTA, the Section on Women's Health (now known as Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy), International Pelvic Pain Society, IASP, and Pelvic Physiotherapy Distance Journal Club. In conjunction with a licensed mental health provider I developed and used a comprehensive program to train patients in both physical and mental skills for coping with living with chronic illness and disease.

Presently, I spend my time managing my illness and as I am able contribute to efforts to educate physical therapists and occupational therapists in the safe and effective care of patients with ME/CFS, its comorbid conditions, and long-Covid.
